DESIGN CONSULTATION
A face to face or video consultation. This time is used to discuss the specific help that you need in your space. A short questionnaire may be completed before or after the consultation to support the design process. This is followed by an overview of what has been agreed and actions for the design process before moving forward.
DESIGN CONCEPTS & SPATIAL PLANNING
Whether you are starting from scratch or working on an existing room, this stage uses a range of hand drawn and computer aided tools to develop a visual understanding of how you want your space to look and feel. Concept design transforms ideas into visual cues, using physical and digital sample boards of images and materials. This is where we experiment with colours, textures and patterns to create a bespoke space that works for you. For Spatial planning, we conduct a survey of your space to take measurements, followed by development of 2D and 3D technical drawings to ensure you can live, work and engage in a space that suits your movements and lifestyle.
For clients with an existing space looking for light-touch spatial planning, this is one of the most sought-after stages, where we work together to reimagine the layout of your space to improve functionality, wellbeing, space saving and storage. This can include exploring repurposing existing or introduction of items into the space.
SPECIAL FOCUS
As part of the design process, Adetayo Interiors can incorporate lighting design and bespoke joinery as combined or standalone services that culminate in technical and artistic drawings that can be shared with contractors or for your personal use.
LIGHTING DESIGN
Lighting a space can make all the difference to how you feel about your home. We will work together to leverage as much natural light as possible in your spaces and how artificial lighting can be used to enhance darker spaces. Layered lighting techniques are used to build the mood, sensation and featuring within a room.
BESPOKE JOINERY

F,F & E SCHEDULE AND PROCUREMENT
Furniture, fixtures, and equipment are carefully selected to ensure a space looks great and functions well. We create a detailed plan is created, listing items, suppliers, and delivery timelines. If specified, Adetayo Interiors manages orders and oversees installation to ensure everything arrives on time and meets quality standards. This step is key to ensuring your design is delivered and set up smoothly and efficiently.
STYLING
The finishing touch that brings a space to life, where we select decor, accessories, and textures to create a cohesive and inviting atmosphere. We thoughtfully place items to reflect the people who will use it, while enhancing comfort, personality, and functionality, making a space feel complete and effortlessly beautiful.
